Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving this year was two days long. We had a dinner on Wednesday at my moms house that was really nice. And then Thursday we were at my Aunt and Uncles house in Antioch. We had a great holiday and I am so thankful for family!

St. George

The last leg of our Utah trip was in St. George at my Father-in-Law's time share condo. We were there with Dan's parents, his sister Sonja, his brother Seth and his wife Heidi and their three kids. We had such a fun time! We celebrated Lea and Jonah's birthday. (Still another week till Lea's real birthday and 3 weeks till Jonah's real birthday)

Lea's Broken Arm

Wednesday November 19th we visited my good friend Kirsten in Payson. Here she is with her new baby Talon. Ayla and Lea are good friends and had fun playing together and Jonah and Xane played together also. But Lea got a little carried away while on the swingset. I took this picture below just seconds before Lea shouted "Look Mom!" and with a big smile on her face, jumped off the swing and when she landed, she broke her left arm.

The fracture was just below the elbow and thankfully she didn't need surgery. Here is Lea in the emergency room giving me a sad face. Although she cried a lot when it first happened, by this time, she was calm and so she was acting sad for the picture.

Yes, for those of you who are counting, this is Lea's 4th broken arm. My little daredevil. At the hospital, Lea cheerfully said to me, "Mom, I never broke my arm jumping off a swing before!" I replied laughingly, "Yes, you keep finding new ways to break your arms!" She is so funny.

Right now her arm is splinted and wrapped and in a sling, but Tuesday morning when we are back in California she will get a hard cast. She thinks this is pretty cool, because she will have another one for her collection - yes we have kept her previous casts.

Aunt Sage made paper dolls with the kids and they loved it!!! Lea got a princess and a poodle and Jonah got a dragon and a prince. Sage is quite artistic and they really turned out great!
