Micah Moments

Micah is a very happy baby! He loves to smile and giggle and he looks so darn cute in all of his little outfits! He brings joy to everyone who sees him. His happiness is contagious and makes you feel like all is right in the world!

Mommy and Daddy like to read while we are holding Micah. Maybe he will be a reader too!

Micah 4 months

Micah is four months now! He weighs 17 lbs. 14 oz. and is 26 inches long. He is still in the 93rd percentile of babies his age. Big Boy! Micah is a very happy, friendly baby. He is getting stronger every day. We love him very much!

Peaceful sleeping Baby - Micah usually sleeps about 8 hours at night, then I feed him and he sleeps for 3 more hours. He is a predictable night sleeper, but during the day he mostly takes cat naps whenever he feels like it and it varies day to day.

I love this little naked shot of Micah. He's such a cute chubby baby and his facial expression looks to me like he's thinking, "Um, mom, where are my clothes?"

Discovery Kingdom with Cousins!

This last week my cousin Jacey and her two youngest kids came and visited with us from Merced 2 hours away. Cambria is one year older than Lea and Jonas is 1 year younger than Jonah and they all love playing together. Jacey, Cambria, and Jonas spent the night at our house and then we all went to Six
Flags Discovery Kingdom together the next day. We had a lot of fun.

Jacey and I took turns, going on ridew with the older kids and staying with baby Micah and the strollers.

The kids had a lot of fun on all of the kiddie rides.

Lea is so cute. On the way home from Discovery Kingdom she said to me, "Mom? I wish Cambria was my sister!"

Jonas was saying "I'm a GORILLAAAAAH!

While playing in this little play place, Jonah started sneaking in and posing for other peoples pictures. It was funny, but I decided to distract him by giving him his own personal photo shoot.

Mommy even took Micah on a little train ride - his first one.

Family Kayak Night

Monday night for family night we went to the Suisun Harbor just ten minutes from our home. We left Micah home with Grandma and we spent the evening kayaking. We all had a great time!

Mommy loved it on the smooth water.

Aunt Cheryl came with us and joined in the fun.

This year we had a fun 4th of July with family.

I can't believe how much Micah is growing! He is almost four months and he is already rolling over and bouncing in his bouncy. We love our happy, big baby!

Kara's Bridal Shower

Thursday July 2nd we gave Kara a bridal shower. She is marrying my brother David August 7th, 2009. Isn't she pretty!?! We had a delightful time visiting and getting to know Kara better, playing a few games and eating good food and cake. We are so happy for David and Kara and we are happy to welcome Kara to the family!
