Jonah lost his 1st tooth!

Jonah lost his first tooth on Saturday February 26th, 2011! Yay! His first visit from the tooth fairy! He is so happy that he finally lost a tooth and got money for it. He has seen his sister lose teeth for two years now and he was so glad it was his turn! Congratulations Jonah!

Micah's first time at Chuck E Cheese's

Well, it was a very fun night at Chuck E Cheese's. Lea and Jonah of course had a great time, and Micah loved it too! He had a blast putting the tokens in the machines and this ride with Chuck E. Cheese was his favorite. Micah had so much fun I could not get him to stop and eat pizza.

This ride was a little scary but fun for Micah. He had mixed emotions. Little cutie!

Happy Birthday and Farewell

My brother Steven is moving back to Seattle. So we celebrated his birthday early and took him out for a Sushi dinner (his favorite). We love you Steven and we will miss you!

Valentines Day!

Valentines Day was wonderful. For me at 7:30 am it started with a surprise massage at our house by a massage therapist that Daniel hired for me. Heavenly way to start your day - let me tell you! Daniel brought the kids to school, then he made me a delicious breakfast of whole wheat cinnamon pancakes and a cheese and bacon omelet! Yummy! I have the best valentine ever!!! Lea's class party had been the Thursday before Valentines Day and I was busy running the party, so I didn't get any pictures. But after school I took a picture of her in her cute Valentine sweater with a heart wreath we made at her class party. Jonah's class party was the morning of Valentines Day and it was fun to help at his party. He had a blast and I did manage to take a couple of pictures. That night I made a delicious dinner and we gave the kids valentines and new pajamas. It was a very fun Valentines Day!

Elizabeth's Baptism

In our church the minimum age for baptism is 8. So many of Lea's friends will be getting baptized this year and next. Lea has almost a year before she turns eight so attending baptisms of her friends is great preparation for her. Elizabeth Anderson was baptized on Saturday and it was very special. Lea was very excited for her friend.

Ice Skating Adventure

This weekend we took Lea and Jonah ice skating for the first time. Their elementary school rented out the skating rink for two hours so we got in for free! Thanks mom for taking care of Micah!

We all had so much fun!

Jonah and Lea were very excited and brave as they went out on the ice for the first time. They clung to Daddy at first, knowing that he was a stronger skater than Mommy. :)

We had fun with some good friends of ours that were there - The Andersons and the Olsens.

Although Lea and Jonah both experienced many falls they were determined to skate by themselves and get better. They had a lot of fun! Lea said she wished we owned an ice skating rink so she could skate for free everyday after school.

It was fun for the kids to see and skate with friends from school. Here is Jonah with two boys from his kindergarten class.

Jonah decided he wanted to learn to play hockey. So Dan was teaching him the basics.

It was a great experience for us. Lea and Jonah LOVED it and although the ice skates are uncomfortable for Mommy, we will definitely have to do this again!

Let's Go Jazz!!!

We had an AWESOME time at the Kings vs. Jazz game at the Arco Arena in Sacramento! We had floor seats! That's right we were on the floor in the very first row! VIP all the way baby! It was awesome. We had a catered dinner in the VIP lounge before the game as well as cookies in there at half time. We had the best seats and it was so fun to watch. It was a great game and with a VERY close fourth quarter and after MUCH cheering from us - the Jazz won the game 107 to 104! Yeah Utah Jazz! Daniel and I are big Jazz fans and thanks to some awesome tickets Dan and my mom got from work from a rep of a big company, we were able to enjoy this up close experience in style!

The only people in front of us were a couple of photographers from local newspapers sitting on the floor. One of them so kindly emailed us some pictures he got of the Jazz at the game. They are awesome! His camera was way better than ours as you can see from the last pics that Dan got with our camera.
