Two weeks in California

What a handsome young man!

We have been in California for two weeks. We attended my cousin Josh's baptism and a family reunion with my mom's side of the family.

My mom's cat had kittens! There are four of them. Two are black with blue eyes and two are gray and black striped with blue eyes. They are so cute!

4th of July

The night of July 4th after we got home from Bear Lake we went to Stan and Roxanna's home for a fantastic view of the fireworks at the Pleasant Grove Junior High which is two blocks away from my in-laws. Fun, fun, fun!

Bear Lake 2008

June 30 - July 4th our family went to Bear Lake for the annual Boyer family reunion. Every year we stay at the Ideal Beach Resort. We had sooooooo much fun and as usual we didn't want to go home!

The kids had so much fun together. Lea and Jonah loved seeing their cousins everyday!

While the guys were at their annual golf tournament (Dan's team won!) Heidi and Roxanna and I took the kids to do some crafts at the activity center. Jonah painted a wood boat and Lea chose a wood bus.

Dan's favorite thing to do at Bear Lake is to play volleyball with his cousins. Dan had so much fun and gave it his all...so much in fact, that he sprained his ankle pretty bad. It was really swollen and purple. It still really bothers him. But of course Daniel says it was worth it. Tough guy!

Daniel is such a good dad! Since we had spent so much time teaching Lea to ride her bike without training wheels Dan surprised Jonah with a new bike with training wheels for Jonah to learn to ride. He loved it!

We had fun doing lots of activities at Bear Lake but most of the time we spent at the BEACH!

I totally bonded with my 8 month old nephew Elias on this trip. He is so cute and cuddly. I love him!

The last day we went on Dan's cousins' wave runner. Here is a picture of Daniel and Lea going out on it.

Right before we left on Friday it was windy enough for Dan to fly his kite for a while. It was fun. Lea took this picture! :)

These are two of my best friends from high school! It was really cool to have them over for dinner and it was great visiting with them! I love you Jen and Heather!
