St. Patrick's Day

On St. Patrick's morning sneaky little leprechauns turned our milk green!

Kiss Me, I'm Irish!

Lea and Jonah built a leprachaun trap in the backyard, with gold coins for bait inside.

We made a rainbow cake for dessert!

I didn't take pictures until after some leprechauns had gotten to it first!

Grandma and Uncle Steven came over and shared a traditional dinner of corned beef and cabbage...and of course our yummy rainbow cake for dessert!

Micah is ONE YEAR OLD!

Micah is now one year old! We had a birthday party for him on Saturday with family. Micah loved the helium balloons. He played with his Winnie the Pooh balloon for a really long time. We could barely pull him away for cake!

Look at that face! He is so cute! We were trying to teach him how to blow out the candle and this is how he imitated us. Eventually he did blow out the candle by accident.

When given his piece of cake, Micha stared at it and poked it a few times, and he kept looking at me to ask what he was supposed to do with it or give him permission to eat it. Maybe he was waiting for a fork. Anyway, it was very cute!

Micah got the hang of it though and bit right into it!

Micah was fascinated with the sticky icing that stuck to his hand.

Happy Birthday Boy!

Lea and Jonah were inspired by their messy baby brother and they both left their table manners at the door!

Time to open presents:

Little Micah was just giddy during the opening of presents.
He got some great clothes and a stuffed bunny.

My sister Cheryl flew in from Utah to be at Micah's birthday party. She had recently gone on a cruise to Jamaica and she gave him this adorable shirt. We really enjoyed visiting with her. Lea is really a fantastic reader and she read to her Aunt Cheryl.

My Grandma Urrutia came to celebrate with us too!

Even as he was about to go to sleep that night he had to have his balloon.

Daisy Girl Scout Field Trip

Lea's Girl Scout Troop took a tour of The Fairfield Police Station. Jonah and Micah and I got to tag along. Lea loves her friends from kindergarten and Girl Scouts.

The kids also got to meet a K-9 police dog. Lea and Jonah even got to pet it and get theri faces licked.

It was a wonderful trip.
