Lea's Girl Scout Bridging Ceremony

Lea bridged (graduated) from Daisy girl scouts to Brownie girl scouts. Good job Lea!

The girls sang some songs and the older girls spoke about some projects. We watched a slide show of the girls. It was a very nice ceremony.

Lea received this fun flower from the older girls in the Brownie troop.

Then they lit candles to finish off the ceremony. Lea loves being a girl scout!

Knock, Knock

While sitting with my three little angels today eating an afternoon snack of cake and ice cream Micah blurts out:

"Knock, knock!"

I looked at Lea and Jonah wondering, did Micah just randomly decide to make up a knock, knock joke at 2 years old?

"Lea, Knock, Knock?" he asks more insistently.

"Who's there?"

"I"

"I who?"

"Ice cream!" he yells while doing a little dance with cake and ice cream smudged fingers in the air.

What a smart, fun kid! We love you so much Micah!

Western Roundup

Here are my tough cowboys and cowgirl! Lea and Jonah's elementary school had a Western Roundup event that we went to. They have bounce houses, pie-eating contests, a dunk tank, and delicious catered Texas Roadhouse food! It was fun!

Micah is such a cute little boy! He is very much entering "little boy" stage and he is no longer in the "baby" category. At 2 years and 3 months old (about) he is already starting to wear size 3 clothes and he is very proud of this Spiderman hand-me-down shirt he inherited from Jonah. Micah is talking up a storm. The funniest thing that he has just started saying is "What da heck?" Micah is so full of personality and energy and he is very active. He also loves to color and paint and can sit still doing that for quite a while. Micah really is a bundle of joy!

Memorial Day Cake

This was a super fun cake to make! Isn't it beautiful!?! It was SOOO Yummy too! We had a very fun Memorial Day. We spent the day with my mom swimming at her house and having a BBQ and of course our delicious festive cake!

Jonah lost a tooth!

Another tooth lost - "Cha-Ching" $$$

Roller Coasters

This trip to Six Flags Micah rode his very first roller coaster rides! Lea, Jonah, and Mommy did one for the older kids and grown ups and then we joined Micah and Grandma to go on the little kid roller coasters. Micah went on two different rides several times each. He was a natural. He was all smiles and no fear! That's our Micah!

Jonah got a little wet at this fun fountain area.

We saw some snakes and reptiles.

We saw some friends of ours there and hung out with them for a while!
