Blue Ribbon Fair

Last Saturday our church had a fun fair! We hung out with friends, ate hot dogs, cotton candy, and snow cones and enjoyed live music. It was a blast!

 Micah and Jonah got their faces painted by some of the young women in our ward.

Summer Crafts

 I found these pictures of a fun summer day when we were doing some painting. Jonah and Daniel built a little bird house wind chime thing from a kit that Jonah had from his birthday several months earlier. Jonah had a great time with his Dad and he had a lot of fun painting it.

 Lea and Micah did a little painting too. Good memories of a fun summer day.

Emma's Baby Blessing

Beautiful Emma is 6 weeks old and she was blessed this past Sunday by her Dad. She was given the name of Emma Joy Boyer to be recorded on the records of the church. She was blessed with health and patience. Especially patience with her parents. She was advised to seek after the good examples of her siblings. Emma was blessed with a testimony of Jesus Christ and an understanding of the Atonement. Her father blessed her to turn to her Heavenly Father throughout her life.

Daniel and I also gave talks later in the meeting on the topic of Facing Adversity with Faith. It was a great meeting and we were happy to have the support of lots of family there with us. We took some pictures after church and then headed to my mom's house to have a dinner and visit with my extended family members who traveled to be here. My cousin Jacey and her family traveled from Reno and three of my Uncles and their families came from Santa Rosa, Antioch, and Brentwood. David and Kara came too as they now live in Fairfield. Unfortunately I was too busy visiting to take pictures but we had a great time with everyone there.

My grandparents Geri and Don Leighton drove down from Oregon for the blessing of their new great grand daughter.

Emma is a JOY and we love her very much!

Baby Goodness and Random Fun

 Here is Emma at one month old! She has already changed so much from birth and we are savoring every second of her! Her 2 week appointment stats (actually 13 days old) were 7 lbs. 4 oz. and 21 1/2 inches. She is now almost 10 lbs. and still so precious.

 We were at a BBQ at a friends house Labor Day weekend and I had to take a picture of Jonah eating this GIANT hotdog! It was too funny! :)

First Day of School

With all the craziness in our new schedule with a newborn baby, Lea and Jonah started school! Lea is now a third grader and Jonah is in second grade! They are such big kids! They felt really cool wearing their new school outfits that Grandma took them shopping for. Thanks Grandma!

Happy Birthday

The best gift I received this year was not being pregnant anymore. Emma came 4 days before my birthday. Good girl :)
