Bear Lake 2013

The pictures are all in random order, but we had so much fun at Bear Lake this year!!!

Emma loved her first year at Bear Lake!

The best part about our annual trip to Bear Lake is being with cousins!

We had a good time with the paddle boards out on the beautiful lake.

This lady bug floater was awesome for Emma.

We were at Bear Lake on my birthday and Daniel and I went stand-up paddle boarding at night together.
Daniel and I played volleyball in a fun tournament with his cousins and siblings.

We made sure to go to the craft store with the kids like we do every year while daddy is golfing. :)

Lea was the youngest participant in the Boyer Family Mini-Triathalon. She did great! Daddy did great too - he won the whole thing!!!

Random picture of Jonah?

The guys had fun at the Boyer Golf Tournament and Seth's team took first place!

Swing Daniel!

We LOVED being at the beach! We miss the beaches in California and the ocean, but Bear Lake was a close second!

Micah collected sea shells. :)
Emma lasted for a little while in this baby tent the first day, but she quickly tired of it once she learned how fun it was on the sand!

Beautiful cousins! I can't believe these girls are going to be teenagers soon! Well, Sarah has just over one more year, and thankfully, Lea is still three years away.
Yay Bear Lake! Our favorite annual vacation! We can't wait for next year!!!

Emma's 1st Birthday

On August 2nd Emma turned 1 year old! We were so lucky that Grandma flew in to be here. Lea gave Emma this stuffed dog for her birthday. Emma LOVES stuffed animals! This past year has been such a blessing for our family with our little Emma.  Emma is so beautiful! We love her so much! She started to crawl at about 9 months old. She cut her first tooth at 10 months. Her bottom two teeth came in close together and she just cut her two top teeth at the same time earlier this week. Emma took her first steps a few days after her 1st birthday. She still prefers to crawl but she gets better at walking all the time. Emma says "mama", "dada", "tay-too" (thank-you), "kitty", and "cookie".

My cousin's baby, Tori, has Emma's same birthday but she is a year older. We piggybacked onto her party on their birthday at a very cool park. Lea, Jonah, and Micah loved playing there - we will have to go back there sometime!
Emma loved the balls but she wasn't too sure about the party hat. These balls were Tori's but Emma is going to get some from her Nana soon - thanks Nana!

Jonah and Lea climbed to the top of this 3 story jungle gym - it was high!

I made two cakes. One for us, and one for Emma! Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting - YUM!

Emma got BYU outfits from Grandma and Daniel and I. She is all set for BYU football games.

And time for the cake!!! At first after we sang to her, Emma was timid because she was waiting for me to break off small pieces of cake for her to eat like I usually do with her food. So I broke off a piece and she took it from me and ate. Then she quickly caught on and she dug right in!

Happy Birthday Emma!!!

Bishop's BBQ

We had a lot of fun at the Bishop's BBQ this year. The kids loved the all-you-can-eat cotton candy! We had good food with good friends from church and it was a lot of fun!

They had giant bubbles that Micah had fun with. See him concentrating? :)

Of course there was face painting.

Jonah took the face painting to the extreme :)
 Lea had her hands painted.

More body painting for Jonah. I love my kids!

Beauty and the Beast

My friend Laura and I ran a theater camp this summer. The idea was to do a "play-in-a-week". We had auditions on a Monday, started rehearsals the next Monday and put on a performance that Friday night. It was quite the whirlwind of a week but the results were really good. It was overall a great experience. The play was Beauty and the Beast. Lea was Belle, Jonah was Lumiere, and Micah was Cogsworth. They were fantastic! Everyone did an amazing job. We got several compliments from people saying they couldn't believe we put on this play in just a week. I am so glad my children were able to be a part of a play and have a theater experience. Great job kiddos!
