Witches, superheroes, and a little bit of honey...

Happy Halloween!
The night before Halloween we went to a ward party and had a lot of fun. This picture didn't turn out very good but here we are. Lea and I were witches, Jonah was Batman, Daniel was Wolverine (without the claws out) and Micah was our sweet bumblebee.

Halloween morning we started out with gummy worm pancakes. Yum!

That evening we took a few pictures before heading off to trick-or-treat.

We know a man who displays hundreds of Jack-o-lanterns every year for Halloween. We went to see all of the pumpkins before trick-or-treating at Grandma's house and to the neighbors. There were over 500 pumpkins there this year! I loved the Harry Potter ones.

Trick-or-Treat!

After trick-or-treating, we left the kids at Grandma's house to spend the night and Dan and I went to a Halloween party. We won the mummy wrap game...

...and Daniel won the pie eating contest.

We had a very fun Halloween this year!

Lea's Kindergarten Halloween Party

The whole class was so cute! It was a lot of fun to see all these precious children in their costumes! Of course I was a little partial to the cute little witch with the green face!

Mommy dressed up too and we walked together with her class in the school parade.

Lea with her teacher Mrs. Barnes.

There were a lot of fun activities at her class party! Decorating bags...
...beading necklaces...
...taking a picture with mommy...
...and making popcorn hands! Happy Halloween!

Carving Pumpkins

In honor of our family recently returning from our first Disneyland trip, we carved a Mickey Mouse pumpkin this year along with a couple of freelance pumpkins that Lea and Jonah carved themselves. Fun Pumpkin Carving!

Student of the Month

Our beautiful daughter Lea has been chosen to be the student of the month in her kindergarten class! She recieved this post card in the mail that says "Good News From School" and on the other side it said, "Congratulations Lea! You are our Student of the Month based on the character trait self discipline. You are a terrific student! Great job! Love, Mrs. Barnes." She gets to have a special lunch with the principal. We are very proud of Lea!

Pumpkins and Ghouls

Today I took the kids to Larry's Produce where they have a big pumpkin patch, haystack maze, and haunted house. We had a really good time there and we are excited for Halloween!

The haunted house was cool. It was dark with strobing lights, scary sounds and creepy creatures. Micah thought the Haunted House was funny.
