Ballroom Dancing

While we were all getting ready for Marie and Aaron's wedding that Saturday morning, Seth and I spotted Lea and Spencer dancing together in the living room. We looked at each other and immediately ran for our cameras. It was so cute!

Dan joined us and taught Jonah and Sarah how to have the proper hold and then they danced for us too. It was so adorable!

Playing with Utah Boyers

We are spending a lot of fun time in Utah with family! The kids and I came out March 1oth and we stayed until March 20th and attended two weddings. Then we came March 24 and we are staying until April 10th. This second visit we attended a funeral had a lot of fun visiting with family during the kids' spring break, we will go to my nephew's birthday party, and we are going on a river rafting trip for four days. It is quite an adventure. So here are a few pictures to share. The one above is of all my sister in law minus Sonja making flowers for Marie's wedding.

Tyler and Bailey's Wedding

March 12th my cousin Tyler married his sweetheart Bailey and Lea and I attended. It was very cool to see my handsome cousins (all brothers) standing up there together and Groom and groomsmen.

Little Jonas was the ring bearer.

Beautiful Cambria was the flower girl.

They were married by their Bishop.

"You may now kiss the bride."

At there reception they had an all-you-can-eat crepe bar. It was awesome and my kids loved it!

St. Patrick's Day

This is my mischievous little leprechaun Jonah, who built a leprechaun trap to put in his kindergarten class.

The idea was that the gold and rainbow would attract the leprechaun (there was also gold inside the box) and the leprechaun would go in the tiny door. Jonah asked me "Mom, how small are leprechauns? Will they fit?" I told him that maybe we would catch the kid leprechauns. Just inside the door was double sided sticky tape that the leprechaun would get stuck to and that's how it would get trapped.
We turned in the trap early because we were going to Utah for the week of St. Patrick's Day. So on the actual St. Patrick's Day Lea, Jonah, Micah, and I were with their Uncle Seth, Aunt Heidi, and cousins Sarah, Spencer, and Lizzy. Lea and Sarah had matching outfits. These pictures are early in the morning before Sarah and Spencer left for school. Jonah and Micah were still asleep.

Here are my cute kids later that morning.

Lea got to go for the afternoon to her aunt Cheryl's 3rd grade class that day. She LOVED it. My sister had Lea help her with a treasure hunt for the 3rd graders. Lea loved being the little leprechaun that hid the pot of gold! It was a fun day!

Later that afternoon when all the kids were home from school Spencer and Jonah put on their matching shirts and we all went to see the play "The Music Man". We had a very fun St. Patrick's Day with family in Utah!

Micah is Two!

Micah turned two this month! So that deserved two birthday parties! First we had one in California with Grandma and Aunt Karina, then one in California with Aunt Cheryl and all of the Boyer family. Micah didn't mind one bit. He loves to sing the Happy Birthday song and he enjoyed being sung it at his birthday parties.
Micah sure knows how to get messy - a sure sign of being two!

After cake of course we opened presents!
Awesome puzzles from Aunt Karina.

Karina and her friend Corey.
Daddy gave Micah his own Buzz Lightyear Nerf gun. Micah had fun shooting us for a while after that.

Grandma gave Micah a toy cell phone that tells you numbers and letters to help him to have fun and learn.

And Mommy gave Micah a Sesame street tool bench with all the tools. He loves all his gifts!

At his second birthday party in Utah, Micah got this cute Winnie the Pooh rocker from Nana - she loves Winnie the Pooh!

Micah loved the Happy Birthday song once again and he blew out the candle very well (after Lizzie beat him to it the first time around).

Eating the cake was just as fun!

We enjoyed each others company for a while and then it was time for presents.

Micah got a fun connecting block train toy from Uncle Seth and Aunt Heidi that he played with a lot that night.

Sonja gave him a cool birthday card and money for a gift that is to be determined.

Aunt Michelle and Uncle Dave gave Micah a stuffed dragon that is so soft and cuddly and Aunt Cheryl gave Micah a cute green Teddy Bear! I think we were all in the mood for St. Patrick's Day! :)

Here are some fun two year old facts about our sweet Micah. Micah loves blankies, stuffed animals and pillows and he drags them all over the house and cuddles with them all day long. He also LOVES wearing his jammies and he cries and says "Jammies, Jammies!" whenever I put clothes on him. Micah loves to watch movies and "Elmo" (Sesame street). Some of his favorite words to say are "movies" and "candy". He is very content cuddling with blankies, wearing his jammies, having a treat, and watching a movie with his family - my kind of kid! Micah also takes after his Daddy because he is very active. Micah loves to climb up and jump off of just about everything! He especially loves climbing on the ottoman and jumping to the couch or to the floor. He will do this over and over. Micah loves to wrestle with his brother and run all around. Micah also loves to dance and sing. When he dances he really feels the music and he'll squint or close his eyes as he grooves when he's really into it. Micah loves to sing with his mommy and he sings at the top of his lungs. He loves to play with his brother and sister and he learns a lot from them. Micah is a studier and a doer. He watches and studies what other people do and then tries it himself, figuring it out. He is a very smart little boy. Micah is talking a lot more too now. We can't understand half of what he says, but he will have whole conversations with you. Micah loves playing with toys and playing outside. He does get muddy and dirty when he plays outside though, as every little boy should, right? Micah is sweet and his smile is so contagious. His cute little dimple is really working for him and he gets compliments about how cute he is all the time from people. We don't complain. We love you! :) Happy Birthday Micah!
