I had the wonderful opportunity to take Lea on her annual camp out/adventure with me about a week ago, and it was a blast. Joining us were our friends, Craig Anderson and his daughter Elizabeth. Lea and Lizzy are good friends and loved hanging out and discovering things together.

After arriving at Marshal beach we were able to take some time to do some stand-up-paddle-boarding in the glassy bay.

We apparently scheduled this trip during a unique time. About six weeks out of the year, bio-luminescent algae in Tamales Bay grow to significant poplutions that when agitated, (paddling in the water, or even the wake of your kayak), they light up the water and glow as you paddle. It was also the peek of the fall meteor shower. It was really fun to see and hear Lea's reaction to the glowing water and for her to see her first shooting star, (that she remembers, we saw some last year on our camp out)
Jelly fish were about, moon jellies to not really hamrful to humans.
I turned the camera over to Lea for some her artistic interpretation and she promptly took this cut close up.
