Happy Birthday David

David's Birthday is only 4 days after my mom's, so we had a yummy cake and sang happy birthday once more!

Blow out all those candles David! Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

For my mom's birthday this year we went out to dinner at Red Robin.

Then she and I went to Book Club that night where we sang to her and had cake!

The next night we had a girls night to celebrate my mom's birthday and my Aunt Cheryl (taking the picture), and Aunt Karen joined us. Happy Birthday Mom! We love you!

Jonah

Jonah loves to build things with his Lego's. He has made many things including airplanes, animals, and a football stadium. Here is his fighter pilot and plane. Good job Jonah!
Here is my spunky Jonah in a bubble bath. He asked me to take his picture. He's a cutie, that's for sure. He is so excited about his baby sister. He always wants to know if she is moving in my tummy. He felt her move last week and now he asks me every day if she's moving so he can feel her again. He's such a sweetie. :)

Micah's Dinosaur Birthday Party

Micah loved playing with this HUGE dinosaur pinata. He was a little sad that we were going to beat it with a bat. It was kind of like a friend. But he understood how to get the candy inside and he got over it pretty quick. :)
I didn't get pictures of the actual hunt because I was so into it with the boys, but here is what we did. We had a dinosaur egg hunt. There were large construction paper dinosaur footprints leading upstairs to the play room. The little boys and I tip-toed and followed the footprints upstairs and there were "dinosaur eggs" hidden all around the room for them to find. In each egg was a baby dinosaur (little plastic toy dino), a sticker and some jelly beans. This was a highlight of the party for sure!
While the kids looked for eggs, the dads were coloring dinosaurs! I thought this was hilarious when we came downstairs and saw what they were doing. The little boys couldn't sit still to color, but I guess by the time boys are in their 30's they have a long enough attention span to finally do a quiet coloring activity! :)
Then it was time for cake!
Yummy!
Next we opened presents.
Jonah made Micah a card and bought him a yellow truck.
Derek gave Micah a transformer. I love the way Micah is looking at Derek so adoringly in this picture! :)
Bryce gave Micah a puzzle book.
Carson gave Micah "Cars" bath toys.

Lea made Micah a card too and she gave him a small key chain sword that lights up and makes sounds. Micah calls it his "tiny light saber".

Feel the love!
Sweet brothers!
Carson's baby brother Luke had fun playing with plastic eggs most of the party. He's so cute!
My beautiful daughter Lea was such a big help!
Micah had fun playing with his toys for a little while.
But soon it was time for the pinata!
After three rounds of having every kid hit the pinata three times each we let Daddy be the one to finally break that sucker. It was a tough dinosaur!
As Micah's little friends started to leave, Micah opened up presents from his extended family.
Aunt Karina gave him a dinosaur puzzle, dinosaur pj's, and a whistle recorder thing.
David and Kara gave him a large plush triceratops.
And Grandma gave him a set of dinosaurs to play with. It's really nice because it was dinosaur families. There were baby dinos with the adult ones of each kind of dinosaur.
Micah enjoys all of his gifts and he had a blast at his dinosaur birthday party! Happy Birthday Micah! We love you so much!
