Disneyland

October 21-24th our family took our first vacation to Disneyland! We had a wonderful time! Daniel's mom, Roxanna, joined us from Utah and we loved having her with us. Unfortunately Dan and I lost the memory card to our camera that had the majority of our pictures on it. Luckily Roxanna had taken a few so we can document our trip.

We had fun in toon town. The kids loved seeing Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy's houses.

Lea and Jonah liked Fantasyland a lot! Peter Pan, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, and mommy's favorite - It's A Small World - were awesome! Lea's favorite ride of all was Splash Mountain which she rode 4 times. She liked Pirates of the Carribean but it scared Jonah. Jonah liked the Finding Nemo submarine the best. We had fun at Tomorrow Land - Star Tours, Honey I shrink the audience, and Buzz Lightyear.

Of course we rode the carousel!

We also checked out the California Adventure Park. That was fun too. The Soaring Over California ride was cool and the "A Bugs life" show and rides was fun. Aleena's favorite thing there was the awesome Broadway caliber Alladin play at the exquisite theater. Very cool. We also saw a fun Disney-Pixar parade that we got a lot of pictures of. Fun!

Roxanna is awesome and we had so much fun with her. She loves Disneyland! On Friday night she was nice enough to let Daniel and I go back to Disneyland alone after the kids went to sleep at the hotel. We visited Pixie Hollow that we hadn't been to with the kids and then we rode Space Mountain and Indiana Jones before doing a little shopping and bidding farewell to Disneyland.

Saturday we went to Huntington Beach which was beautiful and not crowded at all. We had a lot of fun.

Afterward we ate at Joe's Crab Shack and got some fun pictures.

Lea and Jonah had some great animal balloons made for them. A butterfly for Lea and Pluto for Jonah.

Lea had fun dancing with the waitress.

We had a fantastic vacation and it was over all too soon. Disneyland was a blast!
