Happy Birthday Dad. You would have been 54 this year. I miss you. Has it really been a year and a half since I've seen you last? It's really hard not to see you or spend time with you. You have another grandson. He looks like you. We all miss you so very much. I love you.

It never goes away, does it? People keep telling me "it gets easier with time," but for me, when it hits it hits just as hard. I'm sorry!
