Six Flags
While my Aunt and Uncle were here from Indiana we brought them to Six Flags for a day. My mom and sister came with us too. We had a wonderful day together at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Lea and Josh were able to go on some fun rides with Aunt Cheryl.
Family Hiking
We had a good time using the hiking sticks that we got from Daniels parents! Thanks Stan and Roxanna!
At the pond we sat at a picnic table and had a lesson on temples and we ate yummy chocolate covered peanut butter bars that Jonah and I had made earlier. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of us then.
I should have taken pictures of the view on our way up when the sun was still shining but here is a fun view of the city getting covered in shadow as the sun is setting over Fairfield.

Happy 80th Birthday Grandma!
Last Saturday we celebrated my Grandma's 80th birthday! We had a big party at my mom's house and it was very fun. It was great to see lots of extended family and share in our love for my Grandma!
This is Micah and "Nina" which is what he calls my Aunt Karina. These two have a special bond and they love each other very much!
Micah decided to fall in the pool with all of his clothes on and got scraped just under his nose. Mommy was right there to get him out but it was a little scary and Micah needed a band-aid to make it all better. This was the smallest band-aid we had and it looked like a mustache. We all had a good laugh about that and Micah was cheered up right away.
My mom and 3 out if 4 children and all 3 grandchildren. We missed Steven, who is in Washington and David's wife Kara who is in Utah.
The kids had fun swimming and playing and jumping on the trampoline. We loved seeing my cousin Jacey and her husband Damon and their kids who came from Reno.

Jelly Belly Factory
My Aunt Candy, Uncle Jimmy, and cousins Josh, Ben, and Danny came from Indiana to visit and to be here for my Grandma's 80th birthday party. We had a great time with them and we are so glad they were able to visit us in California! We took them to the Jelly Belly Factory and did the tour. Here are some fun pictures of us in our Jelly belly hats.
Swimmin'
My good friend Megen had the fabulous idea of creating a swim team with a few families to cut down on the cost of summer activities. (FREE!) With kids from four different families and the moms all doing some coaching, our kids have become stronger swimmers and have had a whole lot of fun swimming this summer! Plus we save hundreds of dollars doing it ourselves. Here are some pictures from one day at swim practice.
Of course we've done plenty of swimming at my mom's pool too this summer. Micah loves the water like his brother and sister and I know he'll be a a good swimmer just like they are. He wanted goggles on like Lea and Jonah too! :)
