Holiday Baking

For a festive snack one day we made edible snowflakes. We used tortillas and folded them in quarters. Then we cut them with scissors just like you would with paper to make a snowflake. Then we spread butter on them and sprinkled cinnamon and sugar on them and set them in the oven to bake. They were pretty good but very fun to make.

Jonah was my baking assistant this year. He was a big help with making the fudge.

Here are yummy treats that we gave to our neighbors this year.

Lea, Jonah, and Micah made this gingerbread house with Grandma. I think it's their best one yet! Great job!

Christmastime is so yummy!

Cordelia Ward Christmas Party

This years Christmas party we had a sit down dinner. The church was decorated beautifully. Lights were strung on the ceiling of the cultural hall and it transformed the whole room. These pictures don't do it justice.

This year we did a Nativity Program with the primary children. Three other ladies and myself were in charge of it. It was a lot of work but the kids did great and it was the highlight of the night. My friend Joette painted the backdrop. She did a great job!

The three narrators did a great job telling the beautiful story of Christ's birth.

Santa also paid a visit to the party. Micah was too scared to get real close to him but Lea and Jonah were good sports and they sat on his lap.
