For Family Home Evening on Monday night, we decided to do one of our favorite things - have a campfire and roast marshmallows. Daddy and his boys worked hard to get the fire started in the wind. Micah is enjoying a fresh peach from our peach tree - Yum!

Enjoying the fire after learning a short lesson on "The Golden Rule". We have been reading in the scriptures from The Sermon on the Mount and this was an appropriate lesson to teach the kids this night.
Now time for the marshmallows! Grandma and Aunt Cheryl joined us for FHE this night and it was great to have them with us! Daniel made these AWESOME roasting sticks from branches he had trimmed off of our willow tree. Thanks honey!
This was the roasting stick Dan made for himself - isn't it cool!?! The wood is beautiful, too! Daniel always adds an unexpected element of fun!

Of course Micah wasn't to be left out and he ate like 6 marshmallows! You got to live it up every once in a while!

Aleena! I haven't been on here in SOOOOO long! Your kids are growing up so fast, and sounds like you guys have been busy! I had fun playing catch up on your blog, love all the pictures!!
