Lea's Birthday Party

The night before Lea's birthday party, we put her hair in curlers to prepare for the big day!

The beautiful result! This dress is Lea's birthday present from mom and dad. She is so pretty!

Lea had a Tea Party Birthday so we made heart shaped sandwiches, grapes, apple slices, cupcakes, and of course "tea" Everyone had their choice between peppermint tea, hot chocolate, and root beer. Most of the kids wanted to try all three.

We took some cute pictures while we were excitedly waiting for the guests to arrive.

The invitations said: "Lea is having a birthday party and you are her special guest. Bring your favorite stuffed animal and wear your prettiest dress." So Lea got a picture with each guest and their stuffed animals. They all looked so darling!

Everybody made bracelets for themselves and their stuffed animals and had a great time talking and being creative.

Then Jonah the gentleman adorned each young lady with gold or silver beaded necklaces. Grandma and Mommy then painted each girls fingernails and let them put on lipstick.

Once they were all dolled up, we were ready for the tea party! The kids all enjoyed their food and they even sipped their tea with pinkies up.

Happy Birthday Lea!

After cupcakes we went up to the play room for games. We played Kiss the Frog and Musical Chairs.

Next time for presents!

Grandma gave Lea this sticker art set - thanks Grandma!

Elizabeth gave Lea this beautiful horse.

Olivia gave Lea $15 - now she's rich!

Marley gave Lea Littlest Pet Shop toys - Lea had been wanting those!

Danielle gave Lea a Guess Who game, butterfly clips and glow bracelets. She also made this really cute card for Lea that had such a sweet letter written in it for Lea.

Nana and Bapa gave Lea this gorgeous purple dress that she can't wait to wear! Thank you!

Each guest left with their beaded necklaces and bracelets, a lollipop, and these cute mini tea sets. It was a very fun party! We love you Lea!
